Did you know that during the planning and design process, Beech Tree was referred to as Holmes Run Elementary School? Our school was officially named Beech Tree by the School Board in June 1967, just prior to the start of construction. It was named for the surrounding residential subdivision called Beech Tree Manor, which took its name from Beech Tree Farm.
