Portrait of a Graduate skills are those skills that every person needs to be a successful member of society.  Parents can read through these POG resources to help their children at home.  Instead of asking “What did you do in school today?”, consider asking one of the questions from the POG resources. 

For third quarter, Beech Tree will be working on Collaborator and Communicator attributes.  During Friday's staff meeting, Mr. Meyer and Mrs. Settel, helped staff learn how grade level teams can incorporate chosen skills into their classrooms.  This is a continuing professional development to get us to Portrait of Learning presentations for next school year.   Parents can learn more about what POG skills are on FCPS' POG website and see what a Presentation of Learning is on this FCPS POL website.
